About Us...
The Deacons meet on the fourth Thursday of the month, usually at the Fellowship Hall. They meet with an appointed "Deacon's Moderator" and with Pastor Chuck. The secretary takes minutes at each meeting. Check out the Church's Calendar for upcoming Deacon's meetings.

PRESBYTERIAN MISSION FUND: Deacons have sent funds to Ukraine, Africa, Indonesia, Haiti, etc. COMMUNION: Set up and serve once a month COFFEE HOUR: Host once a month and celebrate that month's Birthdays & Anniversaries FOOD BANK: Collect and deliver donated food to Cashmere's Food Bank MEMORIAL/FUNERAL or WEDDING SERVICE: Provide receptions as requested CASHMERE MINISTERIAL ASSOCIATION: Provide monetary help for those in need COMMUNITY DINNER: Quarterly. Provide monetary help, food preparation, serve and clean-up (along with other church friends). CARE & CONCERN: Send/give cards, letters, flowers, visits and prayers to Church Family FOOD DELIVERY: Bring to members recovering from illness (with help from congregation) GREETERS: Greet on Sunday mornings when assigned SKYLER FUND: Manage as needed NEWBORN'S ROSE: Supply for pulpit for babies born into the church family CHRISTMAS DECORATING: Maintain and decorate church for the season ADOPTED FAMILY: Coordinate gifts and meals for a family in need |
Deacons Host Celebrations
Birthdays and Anniversaries are celebrated once a month with cake and goodies - hosted by the Deacons of Cashmere Presbyterian Church. Donations Are Needed*
What to donate: Canned Soups (all kinds) ~ Canned Fruits (all kinds) Canned Beans - like Kidney, Black, Chili Canned Vegetables - Corn, Green Beans Canned Tuna Fish ~ Canned Tomato Products Dried Beans ~ Peanut Butter Cereals and Oatmeal (NOT sugary kinds) Pastas (Boxed Mixes & Packages of Noodles) Dry Goods - like Toilet Paper, Bar & Laundry Soap (small- and medium-sized), Toothpaste, Toothbrush What to NOT donate: No home canned items. Nothing that has been opened. * Please place items on the table by the elevator. |
Cashmere Food Bank
At Cashmere Presbyterian Church, we collect donations for those in need. Place items on the table by the Elevator Lift and they will be delivered to the Cashmere Food Bank. They accept food staples (non-perishable), toiletries, and paper products. A money donation can be given to Cashmere Presbyterian Church with "Food Bank" written in the memo line. "Thank You"
